The rogue river 154 ss delivers versatility and affordability in one smartly designed canoe. My husband and i rate the rogue river 14 a 10. We have a waterfront home with an electric boat lift so the 104 lb canoe is not a problem. We love the boat.

A wide 42 inch beam provides greater stability than narrower canoes and a shallow v hull tracks well yet turns easily for river trips. I was using a kayak paddle which worked very well for me. It also features two comfortable contoured seats molded in cup holders a storage hatch and a third center bench seat that doubles as a cooler. I am going to try this week to put the canoe on the car by myself and go for a little trip.

It sports a square stern hull giving you the option to mount a motor. With a rugged polyethylene hull this boat is designed to last. Even after shoulder surgery i was able to paddle it with ease. Green canoe very good condition.

I wrote a review under rouge river 14 several months ago so this is another evaluation of the sam s version of the lll 14 canoe. This style of canoe has the added advantage of being a lot sturdier than other types on the market mostly because there is an added support laid into the hull that increases the overall stability and strength of a longer canoe. I have a canoe rack on top of my cavalier and it is just great. If you like longer canoes like family canoes then a square stern model might be for you.

I purchased my rogue river 14tk over the weekend at bass pro shops for 300 and am thrilled with the performance. We put a small electric trolling motor on a canoe mount and it is always down wind.
